A.R. Pep Rally
I was tempted to post the video of our A.R. Pep Rally to show you how much fun we have in first. However, for the identity and reputation of the other teachers, it will not be posted. Haha we had fun! The children really enjoyed this and are eager to learn.
Amiah came to read to us
We had a very special visitor. Amiah is a student that I had the honor of teaching last year. She began a love of writing in first grade that would inspire anyone. I gave her a writing tablet and asked her to write for us. She did just that and came and shared it with the class. It seemed to have inspired them to become better writers as well!

Nouns and Verbs
Today, students worked in groups to take a sentence that was mixed up and make it into a structured sentence. After they did that, they were to label the nouns and verbs in the sentence. Finally, they were to illustrate their sentence. They had a blast and did a fantastic job!!!
